The Westboro Baptist Church and Their Cult

Here we go again! If you haven't heard of the Westboro Baptist Church, here's an introduction. After the death of Steve Jobs this extremest organization has decided to protest his funeral because of his religious record. By that they mean, "he had a huge platform; gave God no glory" (reported by ABC news journalist Colleen Curry). Let me make a quick point before I continue. They have every legal right to do this under the first amendment, however I and every other sane person in the world have the same right to clash with them on this topic. It is cruel and downright evil to protest a person's funeral when their family is mourning. It is disgusting to see how certain Christians use their faith to secrete a despicable toxin known as zealotism.

I am not generalizing all Christians in this manner for I know plenty who despise this group as much as myself. These are the men and women who protest the dead soldiers returning from Iraq and Afghanistan because they believe the wars we are in are because of God's wrath. As the soldier's family is grieving they have to hear the wretched noise of these terrible people. They also protest gay/lesbian rallies, Jewish rallies, and even the KKK can't believe their actions. There is no reason humans should feel they have this kind of authority from God that can be spewed any which way they choose. I think you'll agree if you watch the following videos.
