Thanks for stopping by my profile. My name is actually Josh Bilodeau (go by my alias, Matt Bailey, sometimes) and I have a real passion for writing. I focus most of my attention on politics and history because I feel these are the two most important subjects on the face of the earth. Aristotle once said we were political animals, so I have taken that to heart and have tried to participate as much as possible. My writing helps me keep that fire alive.

History is what I majored in at the University of New Hampshire and as much as I love politics, history is my true passion. My concentration were Ancient Greek and Roman societies, but I like to consider myself well versed in American History. The phrase everyone uses in defense of, what I consider my subject (a bit over confident maybe), is if you don't know the past you're doomed to repeat it. I certainly agree, but there is much more than simple repetition. Macchiavelli sums it up perfectly for me when he says, "I enter the ancient courts of bygone men, where, having received a friendly welcome, I feed on the food that is mine alone, and that I was born for." I'll let the reader judge for themselves what Machiavelli is trying to say.

HubPages gives me a great oppurtunity to write about the things I love and get a little bit of an internet presense. Prior to this site, I never wrote online, and barely knew simple concepts such as blogging and even making some money online. HubPages offer me the best of both worlds. It allows me to write and through their affiliate and adsense programs makes me a bit of money. Nothing out of control, but enough to definitly help me out. If this seems like something that might catch your attention try signing up. It' completely free and you won't be disapointed.

If you want other options for making some money online, check my blog out. You won't make enough money to quit your job and live in the Carribean, but it will definitly help supplement your income
